A sponge cube is given to a spectator who is asked to hold it in his hand. He opens his hand to reveal that one cube has become 2! He closes his hands again and opens them to reveal 3 cubes! Finally the performer asks "Do you think the 3 cubes have now become 4?". The spectator opens his hands to reveal a large foam number '4'.
