Harry Potter Premiere Still Brings out young magicians!

Last night was the official release of the latest Harry Potter film -Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and people flocked in their thousands to their local cinemas to get a slice of the action!

Smashing an all time box office record in the USA for takings on opening night, the latest shows figures exceeded $22m!

Harry Potter has inspired young magicians world wide and with the final book set to be split into two films which will be released in 2010 and 2011 the future looks to continue for young magicians.

MagicTricks.co.uk Charity Run!

On Sunday, The Great British 10k London race took place in central London, and MagicTricks.co.uk owner - Charlotte Marie ran the race, along with friend and previous MagicTricks.co.uk owner Wendy Fraser!

Charlotte Marie and Wendy ran the 10k in order to raise money for MagicTricks.co.uk selected charity - The Rainbow Trust. The charity provides practical and emotional support for terminally or critically ill children and their families, they also have two respite care homes which provide well needed breaks for the whole family. The Rainbow Trust almost completely relies on donations and volunteers.

MagicTricks.co.uk produced a charity book several years back in order to raise money for the Rainbow Trust - the book - Everybody's Magic is a truely unique publication from the magic community and includes contributions from famous magicians explaining their favourite tricks. Young Magician on Britain's Got Talent!

Last Saturday night, Simon Cowell along with the 2 other Britain's Got Talent judges were baffled by young magician from Surrey.

Five year old Thomas, performed a disappearing Crazy Frog in bird cage routine, which left all three judges astounded. So much so the young magician got three "Yes's" and was put through the the next round.

He was inspired when we first saw a magic act in Poole, Dorset and after that became interested in magic, with the support of both his parents. His Dad, even helps out making his props.

The live semi finals of the show start within the next few weeks, so watch this space to see if this little magician makes it all the way!

Harry Potter Magic soon to return to fans!

Actor, Daniel Radcliffe who plays the famous fictional magician/wizard, that is very popular with young up and coming magicians like the ones that have learnt magic tricks by using the MagicTricks Junior website, has been spotted on the beaches of West Wales this week filming scenes for the final installment of the incredibly successful Harry Potter films.

Daniel and his co-stars have made magic much more appealing to the young generation and inspired many young people to get into magic and see what it is all about. Although Harry Potter, is based on Wizardry it still gives the impression that creating real magic is possible.

Although the next magical chapter is still currently being filmed it means that Potter fans won't have to wait too long for the conclusion of the magic related story to be unraveled!
